3 Consecutive Months PROVES Lunar Sabbath

The 3 consecutive months starting at the exodus reveal the Sabbath days to be on the same days of the month on each month. This was also the case 40 years later at the entrance into the promise land. And it was also the case many years later at the time of Christ’s death. This is impossible to ever happen with any other calendar other than God’s calendar.

Passover and the exodus - Sabbath is on the 15th day of the 1st month

And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. Ex. 12:1-2 (Just before the exodus of the Israelites out of Egypt, God began to reinstate his time keeping system from creation that is the only way to identify His Sabbaths and Holy Days.)

In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S passover. And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread. In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein. Lev. 23:5-7

When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest: And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it. Lev. 23:10-11 (The sheaf is waved the day after the 1st day of Unleavened Bread, which is the 15th, which is called the Sabbath. So the 15th day of the 1st month is a Sabbath day.)

Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover. And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. Ex. 12:21-22 (The Israelites were not to leave their houses until the morning. So we know they didn't leave Egypt on the 14th.)

And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: Ex. 12:17 (They left Egypt on the 15th. But wasn't the 15th a Sabbath day? Would God cause his people to break his law by causing them to travel on the Sabbath?)

It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations. Ex. 12:42 (So they left at night on the 15th. The Sabbath rest is only for the daylight hours.)

Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the LORD thy God: for in the month of Abib the LORD thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night. Deut. 16:1 (This verse clarifies that the Israelites left Egypt by night, and thus waited until after the daylight hours of the Sabbath before leaving on the 15th. This also reveals that a day begins at sunrise, not the tradition of sunset.)

The main point for this 1st month is that the Sabbath day is pinpointed to be on the 15th day. We can also conclude the the 8th, 22nd, and 29th were also Sabbath days. The 1st day of the 1st month was new moon day.

The heavenly manna - Sabbath is on the 15th day of the 2nd month

And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt. And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness:… Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no. And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily… And it came to pass, that at even the quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host. And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground. And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat. Ex. 16:1-2,4-5,13-16 (So did the Israelites travel on the 15th or did they murmur to Moses on the 15th? The comma after the word “Sinai” in verse 1 should be a semicolon or period, causing the meaning to be that the Israelites murmured to Moses on the 15th and they journeyed from Elim to Sin beforehand since the daylight hours of the 15th is the Sabbath and the punctuations are added by translators and subject to error as in the passage of the thief on the cross. I will prove that interpretation to be true by proving that the 15th was indeed the Sabbath day. Also, God chose to wait until the evening to send the quail, this is after the daylight hours of the Sabbath, just as God also waited after the daylight hours of the Sabbath to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. The manna rained down the following morning, and they were to gather a double portion on the 6th day in order to have enough for the following day which is the 7th day Sabbath. It is important to note that the 1st day the manna came down was the morning after the 15th. So the manna, showing the days of the week, shows that the 16th is the 1st day of the week. Counting 7 days results in the 22nd of the month being the Sabbath, and THEREFORE THE 15th ALSO BEING A 7TH DAY SABBATH IN THE 2ND MONTH.)

And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses. And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning. And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein. And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day is a sabbath unto the LORD: to day ye shall not find it in the field. Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none. And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none. And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws? See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. So the people rested on the seventh day. Ex. 16:22-30 (The Sabbath day was the day after the sixth day of manna. We know that the manna began the morning after the 15th day. So it began on the 16th. This makes the sixth day of manna being the 21st. Therefore the 7th day Sabbath is the 22nd.)

Therefore, we can conclude that for the 2nd month in a row, the Sabbath is pinpointed to be on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th days of the month. And the 1st day of the month is new moon day. This is an extremely rare occurrence to ever happen on a calendar with a continuous weekly cycle. Two months in a row is a very strong indication that we are dealing with a luni-solar calendar.

Arrival at Mt. Sinai - Sabbath is on the 15th day of the 3rd month

In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai. Ex. 19:1 (They came to Sinai in the 3rd month, on the same day they had left Egypt. They left Egypt by night on the 15th of the month, which was the night after the daytime hours of the 7th day Sabbath. Therefore, they came to Sinai on the 15th of the month. But was the 15th the 7th day Sabbath?)

And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it… And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete: Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; Lev. 23:11,15-16

The proper count to Pentecost is proof in and of itself of the lunar Sabbath. Please see the page "Count To Pentecost PROVES Lunar Sabbaths." Because only by lunar Sabbaths can you calculate the giving of the law to Moses on the right day.

1st Month, 15th Day = Feast of Unleavened Bread Sabbath High Day
1st Month, 16th Day = Wave Sheaf
3rd Month, 8th Day = 7 Sabbaths complete
3rd Month, 15th Day = arrival at Mt. Sinai, 7 days into 50 day count
3rd Month, 18th Day = 10 commandments spoken, 10 days into 50 day count
Pentecost = on the 40th day on Sinai God gives the law to Moses, 50th day count

So obviously if the 8th day of the 3rd month is a Sabbath day, so too is the 15th, 22nd, and 29th days of the month. And the 1st day of the month being new moon day. We know the 8th day is a Sabbath because of how you count Pentecost. This is the 3rd month in a row for this to occur. This is straight from the scriptures. This is IMPOSSIBLE to EVER happen on a calendar that has a continuous weekly cycle. This completely eliminates the Saturday Sabbath as having any validity. The lunar Sabbath is the only way to account for this calendar described in the scriptures.

Entering the promise land - Sabbath is on the 15th day of the month 40 year later

And the children of Israel encamped in Gilgal, and kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the month at even in the plains of Jericho. And they did eat of the old corn of the land on the morrow after the passover, unleavened cakes, and parched corn in the selfsame day. And the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year. Joshua 5:10-12 (40 years later, the Passover is still on the 14th day of the month, the high day Sabbath of the Feast of Unleavened Bread is the next day on the 15th, and the manna ceased on the next day being the 1st day of the week. THE 15TH OF THE MONTH IS ONCE AGAIN THE 7TH DAY SABBATH 40 YEARS LATER.)

Christ’s Death - Sabbath is on the 15th day of the month many years later

Christ died on Passover, which is the 14th day of the 1st month of the year, on the 6th day of the week every year. The following day is the high day Sabbath of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which every year occurs on the 15th of the 1st month of the year. Therefore, THE 15TH REMAINS A 7TH DAY SABBATH MANY YEARS LATER AT CHRIST’S DEATH.
